I got one of the smaller whole birds because it's just my husband & I. We grilled it as a beer can chicken & couldn't believe how beautiful it turned out! We had to hurry up & buy more before everyone else got them. Thank you for the best chicken we have ever had!!
Our Story
We are Blackberry Chicken Farm, located just south of Lake Thunderbird, OK. My husband is a disabled veteran & we started this farm because his disabilities were making it increasingly harder for him to work steadily, yet we still needed to be able to support our family. We have 3 children & 2 are still at home, where I have homeschooled them their entire life. We raise Chickens & Sheep on our little farm & partnered with a local farmer to provide beef to our customers. All our animals are raised on our never sprayed pasture & moved daily. They have available to them a high quality, non-GMO, non-medicated, no soy or corn feed. They have access to plenty of fresh air, bugs, & clean water. Our meat chickens are moved onto fresh grass daily, while the sheep & hens enjoy a rotational grazing. This provides you with the best flavor & nutritional value for your hard earned money!
